Terms of Use

AniRanking is a personally run, non-commercial anime discovery site with rankings, scores, viewing-availability information and community features. It currently has no ads and no fees. If sponsorships or affiliate links ever appear, they will be clearly labelled. Data sources are listed in Sources & credits.

• Sign up with a real, working e-mail address and keep your password safe; what happens under your account counts as done by you.
• A nickname may not pretend to be official or staff, infringe others' rights or contain inappropriate content.
• You may stop using the site at any time; see the Privacy Policy for how to delete your account.

You can post ratings and one-line reviews. Please follow these rules:

• Respect others: no abuse, harassment, hate speech, discrimination or personal attacks.
• No illegal content, no violation of others' privacy (for example, sharing personal information) and no copyright infringement.
• No advertising, spam, vote manipulation or clickbait, and no using several accounts to manipulate ratings.
• Tick “Contains spoilers” when a review has spoilers.
• Reviews should be your own opinion; don't copy long passages written by others.

You keep ownership of your content. You allow us to display it on the site (including excerpts, search and showing it on both language versions) until you delete it or your account. You can edit or delete your own reviews at any time; a review that is hidden with a pending report can't be edited until it has been handled.

Any signed-in user can report a review. When several users whose accounts are old enough report it, the review is hidden automatically until a moderator handles it; moderators can keep it public, hide or remove it, and can reset an inappropriate nickname or avatar. Accounts with serious or repeated violations may be suspended or deleted.

We may not explain every decision. If you think one was wrong, appeal through the site's contact details.

Rankings, scores, mood, anticipation and viewing-availability information are compiled and calculated from public sources and provided “as is”, with their sources. They may be wrong, incomplete or out of date: a score only summarises other sites' and readers' opinions and is no guarantee of quality; licensors and platforms change over time, and release and launch dates are whatever the platform announces. Check the platform's page for prices and regions before you pay.

We provide no piracy links and no advice on getting around regional restrictions; platforms are not affiliated with AniRanking.

Titles, images, platform names and logos belong to their owners and are used here only to identify and describe. If you are a rights holder and want something corrected or removed, contact us.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any express or implied warranty, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that its data is accurate. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss from using the site or relying on its information.

We may update these terms; the date of the last update is shown at the top. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
